MU Staff Benefits

Most staff members are aware of the Educational Fee Assistance (75% discount) for MU college level credit courses and the 50% discount for dependents, but are you aware that there are several other benefits available to staff?

In addition to the standard UM Benefits Policy, staff members may take advantage of tax deferred investment plans, as well as a number of discounts available across campus, and at home!

On campus, staff members have access to all library services at Ellis Library, a 10% merchandise discount at the University Bookstore, educational pricing from TigerTech (Computer Spectrum), and discounts on Athletic Season Tickets, merchandise at the Tiger Team Store, membership to the MU Alumni Association and tickets to performances at the Rynesburger Theater.

The benefits extend to your home life too!  For a minimal fee, MU Staff Members can utilize TigerLink home internet access. And if you use a cell phone (and who doesn't) discounts are available from three major cellular providers: Cingular, Sprint/Nextel, and U.S. Cellular. All you need is a Staff ID. (Offers vary so ask your provider for details.)

Don't forget to check back with us from time to time as we update the Staff Member benefits list.  As always, if you're aware of an MU staff benefit that we've forgotten, let us know!
