Hello! My name is Drew Buck and I am a Ranger this summer at Philmont Scout Ranch. I have been coming to Philmont every summer since 2003 and have been on a short trek, a full trek, a Rayado trek, and have also spent one previous summer as a Ranger.

In 2003, I documented our trek with a video camera and created a DVD recounting our journey. Then in 2004 I brought the video camera back and turned our trek into an epic movie adventure. These DVDs gave me the inspiration to share my experiences this summer here on this website.

When I'm not at Philmont during the summer, I attend the University of Missouri - Columbia and study Computer Engineering. I play the trombone in many of the university ensembles including Marching Mizzou in the fall. Studying keeps me busy and the entire year all I can think is, "I want to go back to Philmont!"
