OVERVIEW OF ADOLESCENT AND YOUNG ADULT HEALTH RISK STUDY (AYAHRS)
The chart below provides an overview of the study design. All together, five waves (or rounds) of data collection have been funded. Currently we are in the process of completing a third wave of interviews with all participants, and have begun interviewing a subset of respondents a fourth time.

The study began with a random sample of 2500 eligible adolescents; 2,052 of these (81%) were interviewed at Time 1. A sub-study of 818 primary care givers was also done. |
