I am an assistant professor of Parks, Recreation and Tourism at University of Missouri. I coordinate the specialization of Tourism Development within this Department at undergraduate and graduate levels.

My team primarily conducts research on Agritourism, rural tourism, and agriculture entrepreneurship. Our research also deals with the social dimensions of agroforestry and marketing research. Personally, I enjoy developing and managing web-based research systems.

I teach three courses at MIZZOU: Tourism Management, Tourism Planning and Development, and Constructs of Leisure. Principles of sustainable development and case studies from around the world are used in the delivery of these courses. Together with other PRT faculty, I also teach Problems in Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
