I am an assistant professor of Parks, Recreation and Tourism at University of Missouri. I coordinate the specialization of Tourism Development within this Department at undergraduate and graduate levels.

My research focuses on Agritourism, rural tourism development, and cultural tourism. My research foci also include agriculture entrepreneurship and marketing research. In addition, I enjoy developing and managing web-based research systems.

I teach three courses at MIZZOU: Tourism Management, Tourism Planning and Development, and Constructs of Leisure. Principles of sustainable development and case studies from around the world are used in the delivery of these courses. Together with other PRT faculty, I also teach Problems in Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
