Bocomo Baseball

The new year brings a new season of baseball. This year we are going to make some major changes. Rather than have an auction we are going to a draft. This should speed up the time it takes to get our team. The next change, hopefully, will be that each owner is responsible for their team and roster. I hope to have daily updates and thus daily moves. The cost of the moves will be the same, I hope.

It looks like the baseball season will be a draft, as opposed to the auction style we have had in the past. I know this does cause some hardships for some owners. Part of the league has been based upon building a roster every other year. Now every year will be a new year. There are no keepers. This will cause some of us to lose out on some of our good auctions of last year or the year before. There really isn't a good time for transition. I am looking forward to the new changes. We will use software from Commissioner Online . We used this software as a sister league last year. Please take a look around at their baseball league.

This is where some league information will show up (if possible).

Next up will be the posting of frozen rosters. This won't happen since we won't be having frozen rosters. That should be a real trick since it will involve a spreadsheet instead of lines of text. I work for the University of Missouri. I have lived in Columbia most all of my life. Once in awhile I leave, but it seems I always come back.

I am no longer driving my big truck. Gas prices finally got the best of me. I an now driving the Blazer. It is nice to drive something that is smaller. A picture of the Blazer that I now get to drive.
