This 2007 track season was very eventful. I competed in the 800M and 1600M at state within 75 minutes. I also competed in the 4X800M relay.
I finished first in both of my individual events at state and 9th in our 4X800M, just missing a state medal.
My times this season were not as low as I would have wished (2:12.54, 5:01.77), but a hip injury set me out of running and training for 2 weeks possibly setting off my peak (at least that's what my coach tells me).
I had to come back and train through partial pain, but continued to strengthen the muscle so that it is in its current healthy condition.
My time at state was good enough to qualify for Nike Outdoor Nationals so I will be returning to the meet in North Carolina to compete in the 800M. I also believe I will be traveling to a meet in Illinois a week before Nike, as well.
I will continue my training and hopefully peak at Nike so that my time will drop.
If you are interested, you will be able to view the Nike meet live online.

This summer will be dedicated to running and looking for colleges as I come into my senior year (although I do not believe I will make my decision until the winter months).
After that, I will focus on training for the 2007 cross country season.
