Dear Dr. Glaser
Our group "the Borg" worked well together. We were able to meet in
lecture and plan our study sessions although they were not as frequent as
you would have desired. After one of our group members dropped the
course, it became easier to arrange a meeting time because we only had to
deal with three peoples schedules. Some of us knew each other from
previous classes and some of us didn't know any of us, but it was fine
anyway. However we must admit that we didn't feel that forming study
groups was very helpful. This is due in part to our previously acquired
solitary study habits. It is difficult to study in a group when the
members have a strong desire to talk about subjects other than the
synthesis of alcohols.
        Thank you for your time
