Remember that we are using absolute grading, that is, the
information in the syllabus tells you exactly what grade you
are on at any given time during the semester.  My goal is an 
average of 65% or better.  The 65%-70% range is C+.  

In your first exam you achieved an average of 34.2 points or
68.4%; a good C+.  A good start.

Note that a passing grade requires a score above 55%; the C-
starts at 55%.  Those of you with fewer than 27.5 points need
to take a good, honest look at their study habits and make
a few changes.

Chemistry is getting more and more difficult and you need to
