Evaluation by Group 19

        (1) Topic Selection: 20 Points (0-20)
20- The topic of interest was definitly a topic for today's ecological issues.  There was a strong relation with organic chemistry through POP's and the affects to humans and animals.  Great topic.

        (2) Newspaper and Article Selection: 9 Points (0-10)
9- Environmental News Network held as a strong source with links to Nation Geograpic News.  It contained the related topic of POP's and it's affects to the environment.  It had valuable information.

        (3) Quality of the Editorial Comments: 8 Points (0-10)
8-  The editoral was well written and understandable.  The editoral does illustrate the key issues.  For links off of the editoral, some seemed irrevalent or not necessary for the main topic.

        (4) Organic Chemistry Content: 8 Points (0-10)
8- The organic chemical was made clear and how it pertains to the environment, however, the process in which what make the chemical tick was a bit unclear.  All necessary references were complete.

        (5) Selection and Quality of the Links: 19 Points (0-20)
19-  Key issue was well drawn out, the links are relavent to the topic.  The links to endrin, dieldrin, and heptachlor seems to have useful information but the tables didn't seem very supported.  They fit the editoral, it's direct to the point.

        (6) Format, Number and Types of Questions: 10 Points (0-10)
10- Question well well written and had organic chemistry involved in each.  The last question was PSP.

        (7) Quality of the Questions: 10 Points (0-10)
10-  The question were very clear and had an eduacational purpose for each.  Each question dealt with the POP's and/or there ecological issues.

        (8) Overall Impression. 8 Points (0-10)
8- This project would be recognized for further publication, although, revision could take place with suggested links in the editoral, especially with the compounds.
