FLAVOR

Chemical data for this ingredient is unavailable, due to the generic nature of the labeling.  A phone call was made to Vicks for illumination on this matter.  I was told that the exact flavors used were unavailable (possibly due to people try ing to copy that great NyQuil taste), but
that they were "artifical flavors".

High Fructose Corn Syrup is a natural sweetener, derived from corn.  It is a clear, sappy liquid that is as sweet as sucrose, but not as expensive, which explains its use in many products as a sweetener.    Fructose is the main ingr edient in HFCS, so its structure is listed.  Fructose is the sweetest of the natural sugars, and is freely soluble in water.
