1. Topic Selection: 19 pts.
Very interesting and important topic that relates well with organic
chemistry.

The article is from a good newspaper and is fairly recent.

3. Quality of the Editorial Comments: 9 pts.
The article is well organized and clearly understood.

4. Organic Chemistry Content: 9 pts.
PVC is definitely organic content and the links and the references are
complete.

5. Selection and Quality of the Links: 18 pts.
Good links that are informative but could have more links for PVC.

6. Format, Number and Types of Questions: 10 pts.
All questions meet the requirements.

7. Quality of Questions: 9 pts.
The questions help clarify the article and can be done in a reasonable
amount of time.

(B) Group 15 Fall 99

(C)

(1) Topic Selection: 9 pts

Topic was interesting but directed more at parents.

(2) Article Selection: 10 pts

Article was short and sweet and encompassed the international front.

(3) Editorial Comments: 9 pts

To the point.

(4) Chemistry Content: 10 pts

Highly relevant and issue made clear.

(5) Quality of links: 13 pts

Most of the links take you to a general site and not to where we should go
to find pertinent articles. It is hard to get a full opinion from an
abstract without the full article. Need a variety of sources - don't
overuse one. More links similar to the Toys R Us link.

(6) Types of Questions: 10 pts

Good questions and relevance.

(7) Quality of Questions: 10 pts

Addressed the issues at hand.

(8) Overall Impression: 9 pts

Everything was excellent but we question the links and their importance.
This is a key issue of this project. Excellent job.

Total: 80 pts

(B)Group 15: Fall of 1999

(C)
    1)Topic Selection: 20 points
            Nicely related to chemisty topics.

2)Newspaper and Article Selection: 10 points
The article was very fascinating and we enjoyed reading it,
           because it kept our attention

3)Quality of Editorial Comments: 10 points
The editorial comments summarized and explained the comments
            very well. No compliants here.

    4)Organic Chemistry Content: 10 points
Chemistry was adequately explained and related to the article
            nicely.

5)Selection and Quality of Links: 19 points
The only problem we found was the following: it would have
been better if the chem-finder link went directly to the
molecule, rather than the homepage. All other links were
relevant and added to the editorial comments.

6)Format, Number, and Types of Questions: 10 points
            All requirements were covered.

    7)Quality of Questions: 10 points
The questions were excellently written and reasonable.

    8)Overall Impression: 10 points
The article kept our interest and the comments were very
            explanatory. Excellent work!!!!!!!!

Total of points allocated: 99 out of 100.
