Group 32: The Chemistry Dorks
Group Dynamics Report
Overall, the group project experience was an exceptional one. Our
group got along great and we didn't encounter any personality conflicts.
We met about 10 times, initially before our lab period began in order to
plan and set up for more extensive meetings in the evening. Our evening
meetings lasted from one to three hours, in which we evaluated possible
news articles, designed our editorial comments and links, and finally
performed our peer evaluations and group dynamics report. We considered
roughly eight newspaper articles before finally agreeing on a suitable one
which dealt with azo dyestuffs. We didn't specifically study lecture
memorial together, but we did work together effectively in the lab as well
as on our post-labs afterwards. On the whole the group was a great
learning experience. We all successfully worked together in producing an
effective group project. We would all definitely agree that it is an
experience that would be nice to enjoy again.
