Group 33 Dynamics Report

Our group frequency discussed ideas and meeting times during lab free time every Wednesday. We met on Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m. in Memorial Union and again on Monday when more time was needed. The actual project took us at least 8 hours to complete, from searching for relevant links and pictures to the complete HTML file.

We all searched for relevant articles individually and brought them in for a group discussion. We narrowed it down to two articles, and it was finalized by chapter availability. Finding an article proved to be relatively simple. However, finding an organic chemistry related topic was not. Keyword searching proved to be a problem, but other than that, everything went smoothly.

In this group project, we were able to expand on each otherís individual talents in order to produce our final product. One member had already had some HTML experience that she shared with the group. We all learned how to search much more efficiently and effectively. We learned how to work with each otherís different ideas and compromised. The work was evenly distributed among all four members, and we felt that no one individual carried the load of the project.

Problems sparingly occurred within our group. As expected, some schedule conflicts appeared, but we chose to work around these problems and met at the most convenient times, whether for a few minutes or hours at a time. Overall, the group project was a success. It served its purpose, and we feel that it should be continued in the future.
