My research area is pattern recognition and machine learning, with an emphasis on classification and clustering in large-scale and heterogeneous data.

I received my Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Missouri in July, 2010. My advisor was Jim Keller. My dissertation research examined clustering in relational data and ontologies (PDF).
