Sitting alone in his one bedroom apartment, Josh Bickel, 24, finds basketball stats online, checks his email and his Facebook account. When he's bored or stressed out, he likes to play with his images on Photoshop and print the result. "It's the thing that I do." Josh said, "When I need to relax for a minute, I print."
Josh is a first semester graduate student at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He didn't think his bachelor's degree could get him a job that he really wanted, therefore he decided to get his master's degree in photojournalism from MU. Working as a National Geographic photographer would be the ideal job for Josh. "When I was sixteen I went backpacking for 21 days in New Mexico," Josh said, "Camping and being outside has never bothered me."
