Worlds

This page is an index of all the worlds that have been collected here at Shattered Heavens. Every story takes place in a world, a place with laws of nature, with coherent events.

Every time you create a story it exists in a conceptualized world. Often, a particular writer will conceive of several stories within the same world, and often will create several different worlds for his/her stories. Someone who writes for multiple genre of work necessarily creates at least one world for all those different types of stories to take place in.

Perhaps an author wants to write a story from the perspective of a side character they once used, in that same world, using the same people and places, but telling a new story. This index is meant to help people (under the assumption that this site ever gets the number of authors I would like it to) find stories written in a world that they like. This also provides for those collaborative authors who may want to share a world and both write within it.
