DAE-YOUNG KIM, Ph. D.

Assistant Professor in HRM

Dr. Dae-Young Kim joined the HRM faculty as Assistant Professor August 2006 after he received his Ph. D, (2006) and M. S. degree (2002) in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University. He worked for National Laboratory of Tourism and e-commerce in University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where he served as Ph. D student. He was the recipient of Rotarian Ambassadorial Scholarship Year 2000. He was also a Best Paper Award winner in the annual International CHRIE (Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education) conference in 2005. He has published in top-tier refereed hospitality and tourism journals such as Journal of Travel Research, Tourism Management, Tourism and Hospitality Research,and conference proceedings.
