    I am a fifth-year graduate student in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Missouri. I have received a Master of Arts degree in 2007, with a cumulative project focusing on Grobner Bases in Invariant Theory of Finite Groups, under supervision of, Ian Aberbach. In addition, I am currently continuing my mathematical studies in the department as a Ph.D. student in Mathematics. Following four years as a graduate student, I have realized that my mathematical interests revolve around cryptography and algebraic geometry.

As for my undergraduate years, I received my Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education in 2005 from Marshall University, a public university located in Huntington, West Virginia from the Ohio River Valley. I graduated as an Magna Cum Laude honor graduate and was selected as the "Most Outstanding Graduating Senior in Mathematics" by the Department of Mathematics.

                            

    During the three years as a teaching assistant, I have taught one section, five hours a week, of "College Algebra for Calculus Bound Students in the Fall 2005, 2006 and Winter 2006 semesters. In addition, during Winter 2007 and 2008, I was assigned to teach two sections of "Finite Mathematics", which is the sequel for students that have taken "College Algebra for Non-Calculus Bound Students". During Summer 2007, Fall 2007 and Fall 2008, I taught "Intermediate Algebra", which serves as a remedial course for students preparing for "College Algebra for Calculus Bound Students". During the Summer 2008, I was assigned "Elements of Calculus", meant for business students taking a beginning calculus course. In the Winter and Fall 2009 terms, I taught "Discrete Mathematical Stuctures" for engineering, computer science, mathematics, and mathematics education students.     Throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have been able to enroll in a variety and set of interesting courses.     For those of you that have already concluded I am a nerd, that's probably right, but I do have a life outside of mathematics. My Interests are listed there and I do on occasion get out of my office to enjoy life.
