Working For You

Volunteer Opportunities

There are a number of ways that you can help the Staff Advisory Council do its job. Volunteers are needed to serve on selection committees for Staff Development and Staff Education Awards. Each year the council needs volunteers to act as readers and interviewers for the Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Awards, and help the council with Staff Recognition Week activities like the Annual Fashion Show, Ice Cream Social and Awards Ceremony.

For those who are interested in making a difference in governance on campus, consider volunteering for a campus-wide committee. Staff are asked to serve on dozens of committees from Campus Health Oversight to Traffic Appeals; there is even a Committee on Committees. Read more on our Campus-Wide Committees page.

If you have any questions about the opportunities mentioned here contact the council office and find out how to help us “work for you”.
