WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Nurses with a baccalaureate degree in nursing who want to:
- Manage clinical efforts across health care settings.
- Provide visionary leadership across health care settings.
- Engage in creative and entrepreneurial opportunities across
health care settings.
CAREER
OPPORTUNITIES
- Clinical manager in any health care operation providing front
line clinical guidance and leadership.
- Nursing executive in any clinical setting with a focus upon
fiscal and clinical excellence.
- Nurse entrepreneur in
business or innovative health-care settings.
- Nurse consultant providing insight into managing general clinical
operations, patient safety initiatives, and human resource challenges.
THE PROGRAM
The curriculum includes theoretical courses and administrative
practice to provide the needed knowledge, skills, and insight to
be effective as a nurse leader in a variety of diverse roles. The
advance nursing practice degree in health care systems provides a
broad base of leadership and management experiences that can be effective
across multiple health care settings.
The preparation from this program may lead to a student’s
decision to pursue a doctoral degree with the goal of leading
and researching efforts that challenge our health care
system.

are the prerequisites?
Students must have a BSN and have taken the Graduate
Record Examination (GRE) to be considered for admission.
Is
this program accessible to me?
The program is an online program of study. You can study from where ever you
are with opportunities to come to campus a couple of times a year.
May I test whether or not this is for me?
You are welcome to take one of the courses to see how online learning works
into your life.
What
financial assistance is available?
