Problem: This activity will require you to cut a 45 degree angle and pierce a 5/8" hole.
Materials:
- 1 - 4" * 3" metal coupon.
- cutting attachment.
- striker.
- chipping hammer.
- wirebrush.
- combination square.
Directions:
1. Secure metal.
2. Use the soapstone and combination square to mark cut locations.
3. Position and cut 45 degree angle and 5/8" hole as indicated.
4. Cool metal thoroughly.
5. Clean cuts with chipping hammer & brush.
6. Use masking tape provided to tape your score card to the metal.
8. Submit work and this sheet to contest official.
