Dr. Schwindt-Bayer is an assistant professor of political science at the University of Missouri.
She holds Ph.D. and M.A. degrees from the University of Arizona and a B.A. degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.

Dr. Schwindt-Bayer’s primary interest areas include comparative politics in Latin America, political institutions, and gender and politics.
