Album - Short for photoalbum or scrapbook. Of course, this is the book where you place your photos and memories!

Borders - Borders are the decorative edges found on many pages. Borders are a good way to quickly add a lot of color and flavor to a page.

Corner mounts - Corner mounts slip over the corner of your pictures and adhere the picture to the page. They are GREAT if you might want to remove an extra special picture from your book someday.

Crop - In scrapbooking circles this word has two meanings. Generally, "crop" means "to trim." It can also mean "workshop." Creative Memories usually calls their scrapbooking workshops a "crop."

Die-cut - A name for cut-out, paper shapes sold by various retailers.

Lignin - A component of many papers that causes the paper to turn brown with time. Undesirable in scrapbooking supplies

Punch(es) - Cut small, set shapes out of paper. These days, punches come in all shapes and sizes.

Stencil - A shape cut in plastic used as a template to draw shapes on (in this case) your pages.

Template - Another name for stencil. Templates also include special rulers.
