PersonalMy wife and I have three children. Our family life tends to revolve around music, church, sports, Cub Scouts, and Boy Scouts. We have lived in Columbia, MO, for eleven years and love the city and the many amenities it offers. Every couple years I get geared up to run a marathon. Thus far I have completed five: Chicago (twice), Des Moines, Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, and the Heart of America here in Columbia. I'm still in pursuit of that elusive BQ (i.e., Boston qualifying time). Save a life. Send a net! Nothing But Nets is a campaign supported by the NBA and the United Methodist Church, among others, to help prevent malaria across Africa. Millions of people die each year from malaria - but there's a simple, life-saving solution, and all it takes is $10 to buy a bed net, distribute it to a family, and explain its use. Each gift will be matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. You can help by making a secure online donation. For more information, see the Nothing But Nets website. |
