Current Research Dr. Tan's
current research focuses on developing new techniques for measurement,
control, and automation of biological, food and other processes. The
ongoing research activities are in three main areas: ·
Image-processing
and multivariate classification techniques for tissue differentiation, ·
Fluorescence-based
biosensing and bioimaging,
and ·
Bioprocess
modeling and control. The research group
