BARBARA S. UEHLING AWARD for Administration Excellence
This award was established in 1986 by the Staff Advisory Council to honor an administrator who has demonstrated qualities of leadership, administrative excellence, and in some way has contributed to improved working conditions and the quality of life for MU staff. MU Chancellor Barbara S. Uehling (1978-86) who established the Staff Advisory Council was given the first award. The award which consists of a plaque and $1000 will be presented at the annual Staff Recognition Week awards ceremony. Eligibility Requirements: Nominee must be full-time (75%+) staff holding an executive, administrative, or managerial title (EEO Occupational Group 101 or 102 and/or University Occupational Group code 10, levels 11, 12, 13, or 14,) employed with the University for six months and not on probation during the selection process.
