DUAL ENROLLMENT FOR SECOND SEMESTER SENIORS

Dual enrollment allows senior ME students in their final semester to obtain graduate credit for their 4000-level electives.  It is intended as a mechanism for encouraging seniors to pursue graduate studies in MAE at UMC.  Dual enrollment does not automatically admit a student to the MAE Graduate Program.  See the Graduate Secretary for more information.

Requirements:

1. The student must be within 15 credit hours of completing the undergraduate degree.  Engineering Honors students should have accumulated a minimum of 105 semester hours of undergraduate credit.

2. The student must have a GPA of 3.0 on the most recently completed 45 semester hours of undergraduate work.

If you meet the above criteria, you should register for all the course work, both undergraduate and graduate, on your undergraduate enrollment card.

Note:  If you don't meet the above criteria, your advisor may provide a letter justifying and supporting your request.  Final decision as regards dual enrollments and permission to transfer divisions rests with the Dean of the Graduate School.
