REGISTRATION & WITHDRAWALS The College of Engineering operates under the following rules which govern Registration and Withdrawals.
- No student will be permitted to enroll in less than a full-time Program (under 12 credit hours per semester) without approval of the Dean's office.
- No full-time student will be allowed to drop below 12 credit hours at anytime during the semester without approval of the Dean's office. A student wishing to reduce his/her schedule below 12 hours and/or drop a
class after ten (10) weeks, must submit in writing the reason(s) justifying the request. (A form will be provided for this purpose.) The request is submitted to the Dean's office.
- No student will be allowed to drop any class after the tenth (10th) week session of a semester or fifth (5th) week of a summer session, except for students withdrawing from the University or for other
extenuating circumstances.
- Students will receive a grade (W or F) for any class dropped between the fifth (5th) and tenth (10th) week of semester.
- A student petitioning to drop a class between the fifth (5th) and tenth (10th) week of class must have the approval of the Dean's office before the petition will be processed.
