MU Mechanical Engineering Graduate Scholars Program

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Missouri at Columbia is in a unique position to award multiple fellowships for graduate study in Mechanical Engineering beginning in the Fall Semester of 2007. The primary objective of MU Mechanical Engineering Graduate Scholars program is to prepare outstanding students who are interested in pursuing careers in teaching and/or research in the field of Mechanical Engineering. As many as six students of superior academic ability who desire a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrate financial need will be awarded a fellowship package that includes an annual stipend of up to $30,000 per year (depending on level of financial need), a full tuition waiver, student health insurance, and an educational and travel allowances. Women and individuals from groups traditionally under-represented are especially encouraged to apply.
