Listservs and Email Groups

MU LGBT Resource Center Emailing Group:

Email Struby at strublem@missouri.edu and let her know you want to recieve emails of upcoming events with the Resource Center. All email addresses will be given the best attempts to be kept confidential, and emails will be sent privately via Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) so no one can read the list of recipients. It is unlikely that the names of those on the LGBT Resource Center emailing group may be found, but it is still a possibility of which all who join should be aware.

Triangle Coalition Listserv:

Fill out the simple form on the Tri-Co website telling them you want to be on the listserv to recieve emails from the Triangle Coalition.

shOUT Magazine mailing list:

Email shOUT at shout_mag@yahoo.com and ask to be put on the mailing list!

Mizzou Students for Gay and Lesbian Equality mailing list:

Email MSGLE at mizzousgle@yahoo.com and ask to be put on their listserv!

MU LesbiGay Listserv:

Lesbigay-L is the University of Missouri-Columbia listserv for LGBTA students, faculty, and staff. It offers a way to inform and educate subscribers on current issues, events, and interests. To join the listserv, send an email to listproc@lists.missouri.edu.

In the body of the email type the following:

subscribe lesbigay-l <Your name, first and last>

First and last name are required to join the list. You will receive notification from the listproc that the request to join has been sent to the list owner. The listserv membership is regulated and limited to students, faculty and staff or those associated in some way with the university. Although it is unlikely that an individual could find the names of those on the list, it is a possibility and those joining should take note of this fact.

To unsubscribe from the list, send an email to listproc@lists.missouri.edu using the email address you signed up with. In the body of the email, type the following:
