Human Anatomy Laboratory
Laboratory. Study of human microscopic and gross anatomical materials. Concurrent registration or passing grade (C) in PTH&AS 2201 required.
Pathology and Anatomical Sciences 4222
Gross Human Anatomy This course is designed for Physical and Occupational Therapy majors. It is taught in summer session only for 7 credit hours. The course is almost entirely lab and examines gross structure and neuroanatomy of the human body; dissection of extremities, back, head, neck abdomen and thorax.
Medical School
The medical school curriculum is taught using problem based learning. Anatomy is introduced with a laboratory and lecture experience during the first year, integrated into the cases discussed throughout the first eight blocks, and offered as an elective during year four.
Pathology and Anatomical Sciences 8020
Evolutionary Biology
The Integrative Anatomy group team-teaches a basic overview of evolutionary biology. This seminar-style course serves as a requirement for the PhD in Integrative Anatomy, and is taught roughly every other year.
