Mission Statement The mission of the WFSGSO is 1) to provide leadership, social interaction, and professional development for graduate students in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences (FWS); 2) to promote the professional, educational, and intellectual advancement of FWS graduate students; 3) to provide a mechanism for FWS graduate students to express and address their concerns about the programs and policies of the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences; and 4) to promote leadership for graduate students enrolled in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences graduate programs. WFSGSO will achieve this mission while remaining in compliance with all federal, state, local, and campus policies, rules, and laws.
