I'm currently a senior research engineer with the US Research Center, Sony Electronics Inc..
My research interests include low-complexity image/video coding, next-generation video codec standardization, and distributed video coding.
I received my PHD degree from
University of Missouri in 2008, majoring in
Computer Science.
I got my bachelor's and master's degrees in
Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1999 and 2002, respectively, both in Electrical Engineering.
From 2002 to 2004, I was a research engineer with
Panasonic Research and Development Center, Beijing, China.
I was a summer intern with the
Thomson Corporate Research, Princeton, NJ, in 2006.
