Research Interests
My major
is geodynamics –study causes that responsible for various geological processes.
My approach is quit different from a traditional geologist. I apply
continuum physical principles to quantitatively analyze the cause and
effect that may exist behind phenomenon.
My current research activities fall into three general
categories: (1) active tectonics that can be detected by geodetics
including GPS measurement, seismography, field geological investigation;
(2) mountain building process that involves plate movement in history; (3)
mechanism for earthquake development.
